With unemployment at record lows and companies in the midst of a war for talent, are you putting your best foot forward in attracting top talent? This presentation will take a look at the effects of Portland’s booming economy on recruitment and how to set yourself apart from your competition. The challenges of the market allow for some healthy dialogue around  your competitive advantages as an organization, retaining your top talent, and understanding the talent pipeline walking through your doors.  

 

Speaker: Amy Jeffers, Senior Account Manager with Aston Carter, Aerotek's Accounting & Finance Division

Amy's career spans nearly 10 years with the company where she has honed her skills for developing and refining recruiting strategies for her clients. Amy has her BA in Sociology from Western Washington University, where she developed her passion for studying people and diversity. Amy has been a member of the NW Regional Diversity Board for Aerotek since 2011 and leads a local Diversity team for the Portland operations. In the past Amy has sat on panels for WorkSource Oregon, Partners in Diversity – Young Professional program, and been a speaker for Clackamas Chamber of Commerce.

Speaker: Tiffany Bilodeau, Senior Account Manager, Aerotek's Engineering Division 

Tiffany Bilodeau has been with Aerotek for 11 years and a proud PNDC Member for 7 years. She is currently a Senior Account Manager for Aerotek’s Engineering Division and partners with several PNDC member companies to help them find top technical talent. Tiffany’s team specializes in recruiting Engineers of all disciplines as well as engineering support professionals such as Drafters, Designers, Programmers, Technicians, etc. Tiffany graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Journalism.
