Congressman Smith is the Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee. The Committee on Armed Services maintains six permanent subcommittees, an Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, and a Defense Acquisition Reform Panel. PNDC partners with Northwest Congressional Members to streamline and strengthen federal procurement processes to improve long-term return on investment in defense and security contracts. We support reforms that increase fairness and consistency, improve access by contractors of all sizes, and strengthen Northwest contractors who deliver high quality products and services.
