This workshop will define the General Services Administration's Federal Supply Schedules (FSS) Program and how a GSA/VA contract can initiate or increase your sales to federal, state, and local agencies. This online, e-commerce procurement vehicle, makes it easier for your federal customers to find your products and services while at the same time reducing contract award and project start time. Gain the knowledge needed to determine if the program is right for your firm, how to select the correct Schedule, and finally, learn the process involved in obtaining a GSA/VA Schedule contract.

Topics include:

  • The GSA Schedules Program Objective
  • What GSA Schedules are
  • Types of products & services procured via GSA contracts
  • How the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) uses the Program
  • What a GSA E-Offer is
  • GSA vendor’s potential benefits from participating in the program
  • GSA and Small Business

NOTES:

  • This class provides a solid overview but does not walk through the process of completing the GSA proposal that can lead to a GSA contract. If your company has already committed to obtaining a GSA contract and could benefit from direct assistance with putting together the proposal, please contact the GCAP office at (541) 955-9693 and an individual appointment can be set up to discuss your unique situation.
  • The GSA FSS procurement vehicle is not utilized for government construction projects.
