Ms. Darling joined GCAP in October 2014.  Prior to that Ms. Darling spent 25 years in contracting for the United States Air Force.  She started out as a Contracting Officer and worked her way up the rank to ultimately serving as the Deputy Director of Contracting for Air Force Space Command, overseeing 6 contracting offices with a spend of over $3 billion annually.   Barb’s primary focus in her last position was review and approval of solicitations, evaluation documentation and award decisions for acquisitions over $10 million.  She holds an MBA and is a graduate of Air War College from Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL.
